1st Week Recap!

Congrats on a fabulous first 3 days of school! I cannot tell you how proud I am of all the wonderful things you've done so far in 1st grade! Here is a little recap of some things we did this week:

-We've been reading like crazy! We read many books together and students got to pick 3 books for their book bins. 
-We came up with a list of 1st grade classroom expectations. 
-We learned and practiced iPad expectations. 
-We took a tour of our classroom!
-We graphed our birthdays and talked about the data. 
-We explored math manipulatives. 
-We made a heart map to help us think of writing topics.
-We started writing in our August journals.
-We made new friends!
