Pajama day and Fun in Specials!

As you all know, we won the attitude award last week and we celebrated with a pajama day! It was very fun (and comfy)! I was also able to spend some time with my class during art. We learned how to make a giraffe and I really enjoyed seeing my kiddos in a different setting. Thank you to Ms. Scigouski for letting me join them!

Yesterday, I co-taught a lesson with Ms. Stark in P.E.! We learned that taking a brain break when we are working on something makes us smarter. So, if your first grader is stuck on a math problem, have them take a little break and do something physical! Here is what we did:

 Making bridges over mud puddles.

We looked for word wall words in our weekly readers and then skywrote them!

Stay tuned for a blog post about our animal research. Also, check our www.kidrex.org. This is the kid friendly search engine we are using to do some of our research.
