What a Week!

Can you believe what a whirlwind of a week we had? Our days were full of learning and fun! Check out our week:

Dot Day!

Monday, September 15th we celebrated International Dot Day inspired by the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. We made our mark on McDole and participated in many Dot Day activities. 

Tech Boot Camp

McDole 1st graders participated in a Tech Boot Camp. Each day, 1st graders got to experience a different iPad app. In Miss G.'s room students learned how to use Pic Collage, in Miss Christensen's room students explored QR codes, Miss Steimel taught students how to create on Drawing Pad and Mrs. Bright shared her knowledge of iMovie. These apps can help us share our learning and our thinking. This was an exciting and valuable experience for students AND teachers!

Fun Run

Fun Run was a great way to end our awesome week! Thank you for supporting your kiddos and McDole!
